A young man decided he would like to invest in an apple orchard. He
found the right land, bought the seedlings and planted them in perfect
rows. Each day he went out into the orchard. He watered, fertilized,
weeded and cared for his new land. He struggled through the winter
months and did what he could to care for his frozen land. Time passed,
and soon spring turned his orchard into a beautiful field of flowers.
He fertilized, weeded, pruned and did everything he could to care for his apple orchard. But discouragement set in. He had worked for over 2 years on his orchard, and he had not seen one apple. So he sold the orchard and moved to another area so he could recover his losses.
